Knife with adjustble lip
A gap wiping knife system for controlling coating thickness in hot dip galvanizing has been newly developed, which can remotely adjust the lip gap profiles during operation. The adjustment of the lip gap profiles is carried out by actuators which are arranged with proper separations along the knife. Zinc coating thickness distribution can be uniform, and the zinc consumption can be reduced.
