About QXY Machinery

Shenzhen Qixingyuan Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd.We make air knives from aluminum, stainless steel, and PVC. We also sell all the parts. Our products work well for drying, cleaning, and blowing off water. They are used in electronics, food, metal, and other factories. We do OEM and ODM. We can change the length, air inlets, gaps, and surface to fit your machine perfectly.

Product Details

Product NameA-A Strong Air Knife — Small Aluminum Air Knife

Primary Function: It makes a fast, even air sheet for drying and cleaning in small spaces.

Main Advantage: The A-A body is small (50 x 125 mm). It fits in machines where big air knives cannot go. You can adjust the gap from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm. The three air inlet options let you set the air without changing any hardware.

Structural Composition:The A-A Air Knife is machined as a single aluminum alloy extrusion. Its internal geometry is purpose-designed to minimize flow resistance and maximize exit velocity consistency along the full knife length:

Three inlet configurations: end entry (both sides), side entry (M8 thread), or bottom entry

Silicone gasket seals at both ends for airtight pressure containment

Low-resistance plenum chamber for uniform static pressure distribution

Precision-machined tapered internal duct to accelerate airflow toward the exit slot

Adjustable narrow slot outlet — edge gap settable from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm

 Compatible inlet pipe diameters: Φ38, Φ45, Φ51, Φ60

Technical Features

Wide Edge Gap Range (0.1–4.0 mm):  A broader adjustment range than most standard models, enabling this knife to handle everything from ultra-fine mist removal to high-volume air curtain generation within the same unit.

Three Inlet Position Options:  End-entry (both ends simultaneously), side-entry, and bottom-entry variants are available. Dual end-entry allows balanced pressure feed from both sides on long knife installations, reducing velocity drop across the blade length.

Compact Cross-Section (50W × 125H): The air knife is very thin. It fits easily into old machines and small spaces. Use it where you do not have much room.

Short to Long Length Flexibility: We make these in many lengths. We have short ones at 50 mm for drying single parts. We have long ones up to 4000 mm for big sheets of glass, metal, or cloth.

Silicone Gasket End Seals: There are silicone gaskets on both ends. These gaskets handle high heat. They stop air from leaking out the sides. This keeps the air speed the same from one end to the other.

Lightweight Aluminum Construction: The aluminum body is very light. It is easy to move or change the angle during setup. Even though it is light, it is very strong. It handles high air pressure without any problems.

Typical Applications

The A-A Aluminum Alloy Air Knife is well-suited to applications requiring a compact, flexible air knife with a wide edge-gap adjustment range:

Ultrasonic and spray cleaning lines — precision water blowoff after washing cycles

PCB and semiconductor manufacturing — board and wafer drying post-rinse

Glass and panel processing — surface drying and dust removal on flat substrates

Metal strip, wire, and plate lines — inline drying and surface conditioning

Bottle, container, and packaging lines — label-area drying before printing or labeling

Coating and painting lines — air curtain isolation to prevent cross-contamination

Food and beverage processing — product surface drying and sanitary air curtains

Textile and nonwoven fabric lines — fiber surface treatment and moisture control

Core Features at a Glance

Compact body: 50W × 125H mm — fits restricted installation spaces

Adjustable knife edge: 0.1–4.0 mm — widest range in its class

Three inlet positions: End (dual), Side (M8), Bottom — maximum mounting flexibility

Four inlet pipe sizes: Φ38, Φ45, Φ51, Φ60 — connects to most standard air supply lines

Custom length: 50–4000 mm — from single-component to wide-format production lines

Silicone gasket end seals — full-length pressure integrity

Single aluminum alloy extrusion body — lightweight, rigid, and corrosion-resistant

OEM/ODM supported — custom length, inlet position, and edge spec available

Attention / Usage Notes

1. Avoid Impact on the Knife Edge.  The precision outlet slot is calibrated at the factory. Physical contact during handling, installation, or maintenance can distort the gap geometry. Always protect the knife edge during transport and positioning.

2. Keep the Air Supply Clean and Dry.  Install an inline filter (40 micron or finer) upstream of the air inlet to exclude particulates. Use dry air where possible — moisture in the supply line can cause internal condensation and uneven airflow.

3. Match Inlet Size to Your Supply Line.  Select the correct inlet diameter (Φ38, Φ45, Φ51, or Φ60) for your existing pipework. Mismatched connections reduce pressure efficiency and can cause turbulence at the inlet.

4. Set the Correct Installation Distance.  For optimal drying performance, position the air knife 5–20 mm from the target surface. The slot centerline should face the work surface squarely. Angle adjustments of 15–30° may improve water-blowoff efficiency on inclined substrates.

5. Do Not Modify the Factory Edge Setting.  The outlet gap is factory-set to your specified width. If a different edge gap is required for a process change, contact our technical team for recalibration. Unauthorized adjustments may void the product warranty.

6. Schedule Regular Cleaning.  Inspect and clean the inlet port and outlet slot during routine maintenance intervals. Accumulated dust, oil mist, or fiber residue narrows the effective outlet gap and reduces airflow velocity over time.
